The connected POS system
The IMPALA netPOS is developed for almost every line of business. It can be fitted individually to your specific needs and requirements. Our special attention went into wireless, lean and low maintenance hardware for your stores. The back office offers real time reporting, extensive analysis functions and interfaces to any 3rd party software.
All POS can be operated individually in table service or over the counter mode, thus ideally supporting any use case in retail and gastronomy.
All cash takings that are not visible in the POS are non-existent as far as the fiscal regulations are concerned. This makes the cash register the most important attack vector for tax auditors. Thew new german "Gesetz zum Schutz vor Manipulationen an digitalen Grundaufzeichnungen vom 22.12.2016 (BGBl 2016 I S. 3152)" entered into force on 01.01.2018, with some new regulations that are meant to inhibit fraud and manipulation on the POS side. This includes the spontaneous cash register inspection, where an on-site auditor may immediately demand all information, bookings, records and reports.
The new requirement to hand out bill slips to customers is widely discussed today, however the "Verordnung zur Bestimmung der technischen Anforderungen an elektronische Aufzeichnungs- und Sicherungssysteme im Geschäftsverkehr (Kassensicherungsverordnung - KassenSichV)" brings even heavier burdens as of 01.09.2020. All cash registers must be equipped with a fiscal module ("Technische Sicherungseinrichtung" / TSE). That's not only a new piece of hardware, also the cash register software must be elaborately adapted to talk to the TSE.
